I have used many brands etc .. these are my choice of paints and colours from now on. Their pallette or colours for each set is expertly chosen. Nice packaging, excellent quality paints, cool tubes they come in too. A loveley consistency, great workability and drying times. If your trying to decide between a few.. just get these.
I have been painting for 25 years and have tried all brands of paint. I am very happy with how deep the color is and just how smooth and buttery the oil paint is. This also works perfect for the wet on wet method. I have bought two different sets so far and this will be my new "go to " paint.
The colors are amazing. Make your painting pop. I love this product. I now have all 3 sets. The colors are beautiful and are the main colors you usually use during any tutorial. I will definitely be ordering these again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Non-toxic means we don't use any toxic ingredients in our paints. Toxicity, can come from the pigments themselves, and from the additives – dryers, fillers, plus the solvents and mediums you might use with the paint.
All our paints use non-toxic pigments that replicate the same qualities of traditional pigments, still remarkable, but not hazardous. We also don't use any toxic additives in our paints. We always recommend to use the non-toxic solvents and mediums if you need, and even have these recommendations in our Oil Color-Mixing Guide available to all our customers who bought ZenART Infinity series oil paints.
We strongly believe in this healthy approach to art, because your health and environmental safety is our highest concern.
On top of your creativity and willingness to experiment, you'll need the following:
- A professional brush set, like our Renoir and Artist's Choice Collections.
- A professional oil paint set. Choose from our highly pigmented Infinity Series (Essential, Impressionist, Portrait Palettes)
- A non-toxic solvent
- An easel (or at least a chair with the back)
- A primed stretched canvas or canvas board.
- Cleaning materials like water, soap, rags and tissue.
- Apron or painting clothes (optional but recommended
- A well-ventilated place to paint.
Sure! Our Infinity Series of Professional Oil Paints are designed for all experience levels. Ardak Kassenova, professional artist and co-founder of ZenART created limited palettes of fundamental oil colors based on the colour palettes of old masters and contemporary artists who proved how with a limited palette of essential colors, one could create an outstanding work.
Considering the value for money we offer for such highly pigmented non-toxic oil paint sets, including guides, tutorials and advice, you'll make a significant gift for yourself or other artists, whether beginners to advanced and professionals.
When it comes to art materials and tools, a famous saying among the artists and the art tutors is that ‘One should buy the best quality one can afford.' It's so true, especially for beginner artists, who are still building up confidence and knowledge of techniques. The best art tools will help accelerate progress and keep you motivated to paint and experiment with new techniques.
Professional-grade oil paints of Infinity series are highly pigmented, have more depth and produce a wider range of ‘clean' color-mixes, and as a result more vibrant painting. Our paints have same buttery consistency across different colors, which is also quite important, and makes the whole process of painting a breeze. You can use it wet-in-wet / alla-prima, without a fear of creating a ‘mud' on canvas. ZenART oil paints are great for impasto painting using stiff bristle brushes and/or palette knife, and retain the beautiful strokes of impasto technique. At the same time, being finely milled, they are easy to thin to the finest glazes without disintegrating and creating the unintended granulation.
Student-grade paints are usually of lower quality, less expensive and have far less pigment, and consist of pigments of lower quality, additives and fillers. This not only have different more flat consistency, but can cause ‘muddy' colors, unsatisfactory color-mixes, and overall disappointment.
We strongly believe, that especially at the beginning of your creative journey the quality of your tools and materials can play a crucial role in your progress and self-esteem. The high-quality tools and materials will become your best friends and extension of your creativity, whereas poor quality art supplies can cripple you, kill the joy of painting and even might contribute to the decision that art is not for you. Therefore, at ZenART we strive to bring the art supplies at the most affordable price, without any compromise in quality, plus equip you with the best advice and even tutorials for your progress.

Definitely NOT. ZenART oil paints are traditional linseed oil-based paints, which means they are not mixable with water or water-based mediums. You can only use artists oil mediums: solvents for thinning the oil paint at the beginning of the painting process, linseed oil (or other artist oils) for subsequent layers. There are other mediums you can use, of course, that are a mix of solvent, oil and dammar or other resins, which are also made specifically for the traditional oil paints. Our co-founder Ardak Kassenova, a professional artist herself, sparingly uses any medium, as the consistency of our oils is very buttery and especially perfect for alla-prima technique.
ZenART oil paints dry faster due to the high-quality, acid-free linseed oil binder and proprietary process used. Ultimately, it depends on many variables (Average 12 hours to 3 weeks for safe handling)
- The weather conditions. Is it damp, rainy or sunny?
- Do you paint outside, with open windows or not?
- The technique you used: Thick textured layers of paint like in impasto paintings will take the longest to dry.
- Whichever technique you are using, please bear in mind the quintessential ‘fat over lean' rule – applicable to all oil painting work, to avoid cracking or flaking, and proper drying of the layers.
- Pigments used, Burnt Umber, Raw and Burnt Sienna dry faster. The reds and whites generally dry slower. All the other pigments dry more or less at the same rate.
- Oil paint dries from oxygenation, so the more exposure to oxygen, the quicker your painting will dry.
